Continued commitment to Viton® and Vamac®

DPE is committed to the continuing development and supply of Viton® fluoroelastomer and Vamac® ethylene acrylic elastomer (AEM) products. The recent announcement of the intention to exit the Hypalon® business does not impact other products in the DPE portfolio.

Customers and the marketplace can be assured of the continuing commitment of DPE to the development and supply of Viton® and Vamac®, and to supporting new applications for these leading elastomers.

Latest developments
The company recently introduced high viscosity Vamac® Ultra, offering true step-change improvements in processability, and longer functionality in demanding automotive applications such as hoses, dampers, boots, seals and gaskets. See full story

In addition, DPE maintains a high pace of development in Viton® fluoroelastomers, particularly in new generation products, and in compounds that exhibit outstanding resistance to aggressive biofuels, including pure ethanol, ethanol blended with hydrocarbon fuel, biodiesel, biobutanol and alcohol-based blend fuel.
